Start with a regular regimen of cleansing and exfoliating your skin - and lips. Le Beau Visage Medical Spa is pleased to introduce Sheena Breeden, our newest medical esthetician, to our team of professionals. With over five years in the industry prior to joining our staff - Sheena brings with her cosmetic medicine experience on all the cosmetic treatments we provide at Le Beau Visage such as microdermabrasion, photo facial, chemical peels and more.

Sheena started her career in medical aesthetics because she is quite sensitive to beauty and passionate about helping others improve their appearance. She decided to attend, and then completed aesthetics school in early 2005, and she hasn't stopped since. Her career has been an ongoing learning process - learning new techniques and keeping up with rapidly changing advancements in the equipment we use to make the treatments possible.

Sheena views beauty - much like her job - as an ongoing and continual improvement process of learning and awareness. And of course, beauty doesn't stop in the treatment room. It also includes effective and advanced skincare brands such as SkinMedica, SkinCeuticals, Elta MD, and MD Forte - which patients are encouraged to utilize in their home skin care regimen; these brands are medically based skincare names that Sheena is very familiar with.

The BOTOX® Cosmetic Brow Lift

A very common procedure for people entering their forties (sometimes earlier) is an upper eyelid lift. As a surgical procedure, an upper eyelid lift requires anesthesia and of course – a scapel!

Most people who undergo this procedure suffer both an aesthetic problem considering the heavy eyelids create a sort of ‘hooded’, heavy and tired look to the face as well as a possible physical impairment where the eyelid literally hangs over the upper part of the eye. In some cases, this ‘hood’ actually hinders ability of it’s victim to see –causing and leading to blurred vision and other problems.

The cosmetic eyelid lift procedure is definitely the answer for some, and might even be covered by insurance if it’s causing vision problems with day to day activity such as driving or cooking.

However, for some there’s a less expensive, and non-invasive solution to an upper eyelid lift – that of the Botox® Cosmetic Brow Lift.

Most people don’t associate Botox® with an eyelid lift – rather they associate it with wrinkles.
