Celebrating BEAUTY - A Night At The Oscars

A special shout-out and thank you go to all the wonderful attendees of our ANNUAL SPRING COSMETIC EXPO!

We whooped it up on the "red carpet" with a night of fantastic food, drink and friends - as well as celebrity-style treatment offerings at UNBELIEVABLE prices.

Certainly, it was a party fit for celebrities - but more than anything - our bi-annual party acts more as a learning event for you - our patients.

It's a time for our patients to learn more about the treatments and products we offer. Because our product lines and treatments and equipment are so advanced - we feel it's a great idea from time to time - to slow down, and educate our patients on the "how's and why's" behind the science of what we do. Patients at the expos will see live demonstrations on treatments like Fraxel laser remodeling and IPL Photo Facial.

It was also a great time to debut two new treatments at Le Beau Visage: Permanent cosmetics and the uber successful medically supervised HCG Diet plan. Le Beau Visage patients who are already familiar with our exclusive offerings take advantage of exclusive savings on their favorite cosmetic treatments (like Botox Cosmetic, Restylane and more!) and medical grade skincare products - exclusive brands like SkinCeuticals and SkinMedica.

You can also mark your calendars for our next Expo - which will be in December. It'll be very similar to our Spring Expo - and a great time to buy gifts and cosmetic gift cards for loved ones and friends - the gift of beauty is ALWAYS a great gift idea.

Save Time and Money With Permanent Cosmetics

Nearly every woman reading this right now is either wearing make up - or will put some on in the very near future. Make up has come to be something that most women will not leave the house without having applied at least some mascara and lipstick - and today you will find very few women who don’t.

Whether it be for the purpose of impressing that special fellow, a co-worker, or a boss – women wear make up day to day. Make-up, however, can sometimes consume a lot of time in the hectic mornings – depending on how much one puts on – and it can be expensive.

Le Beau Visage is pleased to announce we now offer permanent cosmetics - also known as permanent pigment cosmetics. The main point of this “procedure” is to give you flawless makeup that you never have to take off or touch up! The permanent makeup is generally applied to the eyebrows, eyelids, and lips - and we know that having these certain areas already made up could really help with any morning scenario you may experience from day to day. Think about how long it takes you to put on everything in the morning, and deal with your kids, or spouse, or pets...(or all three) With permanent cosmetics that 30-minute stand in front of the mirror can turn into 30 extra minutes to pick out what you’re going to wear or how you want your hair done!

Permanent Cosmetics, though, aren’t something to take lightly. The reality is that these cosmetics, while helpful, are actually applied much like a tattoo – and are categorized as a tattoo as well. The cosmetics, in fact, are tattooed to the area that you want the make up in using traditional tattoo equipment. So if you are considering this treatment as an alternative to the expensive and time consuming habit of traditional makeup application - it's important to consider EXPERIENCE.

Our permanent cosmetic esthetician, Karen Angel has been performing cosmetic micro-pigmentation, also known as permanent cosmetics, for physician practices over the past twenty years. In addition, she's a Permanent Cosmetics Certified Instructor. This is an elite group, and numbers less that 30 fully certified instructors in the United States. This certification allows her to offer instruction, and to certify others in this field.

Look Years Younger With Botox® Cosmetic

We all want to look young and fresh and “new,” which is why it is no surprise that more and more these days you see women (and even some men) getting Botox® Cosmetic to restore their youthful appearance. It's been the 'secret weapon' of celebrities for years - so it's great news that it's becoming more common.

Botox® , in essence, is an injection that is used to smooth out lines and wrinkles in the face, including getting get rid of things like crow’s feet as well. Botox® , over the years, has become more and more common – but it hasn’t always been that way.

In the 1820’s, Dr. Kerner discovered bacteria in contaminated meat products, which caused botulism, and eventually found a cure for it, and then about fifty years later Dr. Müller named the bacterium Botulism after Kerner’s earlier description of the Botulinum Toxin as “wurstgift” i.e. “sausage poison.” Botox® itself came about by the finding that food-born botulism would cause drooping eyelids, difficulty swallowing, muscle weakness, and if left untreated, worse things such as paralysis and respiratory failure.

In the 1950s and 1960s, scientists began researching the beneficial effects of botulism and they found that botulism could also be used as a therapeutic application. In 1989, Botulinum Toxin (Botox® ) Type A was approved to treat numerous neurological disorders such as strabismus and blepharospasm and many others as well. From there came the discovery that through the use of these injections, brow wrinkles were starting to disappear.

As soon as this news got out Botox® was a hit among almost every person imaginable. Botox® , which was originally used for treatments of certain “illnesses,” has now become something that everyone – from Hollywood stars to every day housewives – have now come to covet. If you, like so many others, would love to try Botox® Cosmetic for your fine lines and wrinkles - you should consider visiting Dr. Riehs at Le Beau Visage. Dr. Riehs is an advanced Platinum level injector - and that means - he's got LOTS of experience. He's truly an artist - and once you see the results - you'll agree.
