The BOTOX® Cosmetic Brow Lift

A very common procedure for people entering their forties (sometimes earlier) is an upper eyelid lift. As a surgical procedure, an upper eyelid lift requires anesthesia and of course – a scapel!

Most people who undergo this procedure suffer both an aesthetic problem considering the heavy eyelids create a sort of ‘hooded’, heavy and tired look to the face as well as a possible physical impairment where the eyelid literally hangs over the upper part of the eye. In some cases, this ‘hood’ actually hinders ability of it’s victim to see –causing and leading to blurred vision and other problems.

The cosmetic eyelid lift procedure is definitely the answer for some, and might even be covered by insurance if it’s causing vision problems with day to day activity such as driving or cooking.

However, for some there’s a less expensive, and non-invasive solution to an upper eyelid lift – that of the Botox® Cosmetic Brow Lift.

Most people don’t associate Botox® with an eyelid lift – rather they associate it with wrinkles. But a skilled physician would be able to perform a lift to the entire brow, by working with the proper muscles and well-placed injections with the proper amount of Botox® to lift the entire forehead – thus lifting the brow area and subsequently, the lids. This can resolve the ‘hooded’ appearance, as well as open the eyes for a more refreshed look. There are two types of muscles in the brow area and forehead that work in sequence with each other to both pull down the brows, and also to lift them up. Botox works by paralyzing the ones that pull down the brows, leaving the ones that pull up the brows – to do all the work on their own. What’s best, is that all the wrinkles in injected areas will also be GONE!

You get tons of extra benefits with a brow lift (wrinkles removed) or a lift effect bonus with wrinkle resolution – either way – you’re getting several fabulous results from one treatment. The Botox® Brow Lift can also help correct a ‘sad’ appearance that some people might have should the eyes be slanted in a particular way, and/or create a more feminine and higher ‘arch’ on the brows.

Botox® is one of the most popular cosmetic procedures in the United States – and worldwide. It’s safe, and “tried, tested & true” for over 20 years removing fine lines and wrinkles – and giving recipients a more youthful and fresh appearance.

Certainly consultations with Dr. Riehs are free, and he will work with you to your desired results, make suggestions - and identify the amount needed and muscles to be injected.

As common as it is, what most don’t realize is the true art behind injecting Botox®; it requires a skilled and experienced physician with an intense knowledge of facial muscular structure. You don't want your physician to inject too much, or perhaps the wrong area - to give you an unrealistic or surprised look.

Jason M. Riehs, M.D. – has been performing Botox® injections as the medical director at his office at Le Beau Visage Medical Spa for several years, has seen so many patients – that he’s been named a Platnium Level Advanced Injector with Allergan®, the makers of Botox® Cosmetic.
